BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 400 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. Study choice platforms are online portals that function as a two-sided marketplace, used by both prospective international students to search for higher education programs and by institutions to reach interested audiences that their limited resources prevent them from engaging. In this presentation, we will present a case study profiling a few different Canadian institutions who have partnered with StudyPortals and other study choice platforms, explaining why they moved to online recruitment, what were the benefits and the limitations they found, and what outcomes they have experienced. This would be a good session for any school considering diversifying their recruitment portfolio.
