Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Recent successes in International Development Projects have been instrumental in developing Northwest Community College’s (NWCC) international identity, both within the institution, and within the International Education field. NWCC’s projects in South America and Africa have helped the college grow its international expertise, and staffs thirst for adventure on the international scene. NWCC’s experience in rural and remote northern communities translates well to the needs of developing countries, and the experience the college has gained working internationally has initiated conversations and interest in NWCC within a global context. This session will present NWCC’s experiences, and through discussion, explore how international development projects can serve to augment and enhance BC’s public post-secondary presence internationally, and foster global awareness of our domestic students at home.

The content of this session is applicable to PSE.
