BCCIE Summer Conference provides an essential platform for the growth of BC’s International Education sector. BCCIE’s annual conference brings together more than 400 participants from our province, across Canada and beyond our borders. The conference attracts senior leaders, researchers, practitioners, student service providers, administrators, government, NGOs, and students to explore these ideas with the aim of strengthening our work and taking steps towards advancing outstanding leadership in the fields of International Education in BC.

Asia-focused Teaching Materials for BC's New Curriculum

Session participants will be introduced to the new Asia Pacific Curriculum project, which includes Asia-focused teaching materials for BC social studies classes. Materials are most appropriate for students in grades 6-12, and cover a range of fields, including contemporary history, geography, politics, economics, society, the environment, and culture.

The content of this session is applicable to K-12.
