Education Governance Models

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join this session for an overview of governance structures in our education sector and province and how we can best utilize these structures. Whether you are new to Education, new to the International Education sector, or are a seasoned veteran, understanding and navigating governance structures across the diversity of our sector can be a complicated endeavour. Increasingly we need to deal with our federal, provincial and municipal governments at different levels. We need to engage with the administration of public school districts and elected trustees. Our post-secondary system has evolved from universities with medieval structures that carry weight and tradition today to leaner and modern community colleges.

The content of this session is applicable to K-12, PSE and Language.
